Pikmin,

There's a new painting up in my gallery. I'm hoping it will be one in a series that I do featuring characters from games that I enjoy*. Seeing that I only have two weeks of holidays left, I'm not sure if there will be another painting, but if there is, there will be Rabbids. Lots and lots of Rabbids.

If I find the time to head down to good old Art Matrix to pick up a canvas, then I will probably need to spend some time working on my style. I'm a bit disappointed with the outcome of 'Games I Like', and would like for the next one to be, well, better.

In other news, when I told my friend I wanted to become a games journalist, he laughed. And then he laughed some more. I guess I'll just have to stick with arts journalism and basic news reporting until I build some street cred.

* I suck at most games. My micro-management is terrible. Growing up with an older brother, I spent more time watching him play games than actually playing the games myself. At work, when my editorial team loads Battlefield 1942 to play against pre-press, I have to watch them play because my computer won't connect to the gaming server (for whatever reason). So...whatever.
